Click the "Language" icon to open the Language Settings window as below shows:
Here you can manage the language for the prompt of your flipbook.
Flip PDF provides 16 default languages for you to choose for the flipbook, including: English, Chinese (Traditional), French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, Greek, Hebrew, Indonesian, Japanese, Persian, Romanian and Russian. In addition, you can choose multiple languages at the same time so readers can switch the languages while reading the flipbook. Of course, you can check this option to select or deselect all languages.
After you select multiple languages, you can select a language and set it as the default language. When the book opens, it will employ the default language. By default, the first language (of the selected ones) in the list is taken as the default language.
This setting allows you to bring the selected language upwards.
This setting allows you to bring the selected language downwards.
Click "Create a new language" and you will see the New Language dialog pop up. And then you can define the name for the new language and you can copy from any of the existing languages and edit the new language so you don't have to start from scratch.
If you don't need a language in the list and want to delete it, you can select it and click this "Remove the selected language" icon to remove it from the list.
You can save the language as an XML file and then import it for future use.
If you saved a language file before, you can import it for direct use.
Once you open the Language window, you will see 2 columns: Label and Labeled.
Label: the language string set by our software engineers, this is written in English and it shows what this means in English.
Labeled: the language string that can be edited by users and this is the display caption for the flipbook prompts.
After you select a language, select an item in the right panel and click the "Edit" icon (or you can double click the item) to open the Edit Language Item dialog, and then you can edit the string in the Labeled column. And after you edit the item, click "Save And Edit Next" to edit next item or click "OK" to close the edit dialog.
You can recover all the edit settings of a selected language by clicking the "Reset" icon.
